## Reviewed overview

Acadia Energy Center is a natural gas combined-cycle plant of about 1,160 MW south of Eunice in Acadia Parish, Louisiana, made up of two blocks of roughly 580 MW. Cleco Power acquired Power Block 1 in February 2010, and Entergy Louisiana completed its purchase of Power Block 2 in April 2011 for about $300 million; each took half of the common assets. Cleco Power operates the entire facility.
