Battery power (MW) and stored energy (MWh) are separate measures. Shared physical-site membership does not establish electrical connectivity, settlement or a common export limit.

## Reviewed overview

Alpine Power Plant is a natural gas peaking plant near Elmira in Otsego County, Michigan, owned by Wolverine Power Cooperative. It uses two simple-cycle GE 7FA.05 combustion turbines and came online in June 2016 after 18 months of construction by Boldt. The cooperative reports 432 MW of capacity, more than twice what its members needed then. Total project cost was about $190 million. Today the plant runs 90 to 120 days a year, with net revenue credited to member cooperatives.
