Battery power (MW) and stored energy (MWh) are separate measures. Shared physical-site membership does not establish electrical connectivity, settlement or a common export limit.

## Reviewed overview

Beatrice Power Station is a 250 MW natural gas plant in Beatrice, Nebraska, owned by Nebraska Public Power District. It has two combustion turbines and one steam turbine and entered service on January 7, 2005. NPPD uses its gas and oil plants to protect customers from costly replacement power during high demand or baseload outages, and plans a similar-sized gas expansion in Beatrice in the early 2030s.
