Bliss (NY) is a 100.5 MW onshore wind facility in Wyoming County, New York, located in the Town of Eagle and operational since May 2008. The existing facility has 67 GE 1.5-77 turbines and interconnects to the New York power grid at National Grid's Freedom Substation through a switchyard in the Town of Eagle. AES is developing a repowering that would reduce the turbine count by at least 33 and install up to 28 new turbines (model GE 1.62-97 or GE 1.62-91) totaling approximately 110.5 MW, with planned construction in 2028.
