Battery power (MW) and stored energy (MWh) are separate measures. Shared physical-site membership does not establish electrical connectivity, settlement or a common export limit.

## Reviewed overview

Cavalry Solar Hybrid is a 245 MW batteries, solar photovoltaic plant in White County. Cavalry Energy Center in White County, Indiana pairs 200 MW of solar generation with 45 MW of battery storage. Cavalry Energy Center, LLC, a NextEra Energy Resources subsidiary, developed and built it, and NIPSCO, the NiSource electric utility, added it to its generation fleet as its third solar project. NIPSCO announced on August 19, 2024 that Cavalry Solar was online and operating.
