Battery power (MW) and stored energy (MWh) are separate measures. Shared physical-site membership does not establish electrical connectivity, settlement or a common export limit.

## Reviewed overview

Chestnut Solar is a solar facility of approximately 75 megawatts on approximately 930 acres in Halifax County, North Carolina, built from approximately 272,785 modules. Dominion Energy acquired the project in the middle of 2019, and the facility became operational in January 2020. Its output is sold under a long-term renewable energy contract with Facebook, and Dominion Energy lists it among its North Carolina solar projects.
