## Data quality

- AEP's contemporaneous public releases described the completed plant as nominally 580 MW, while 2012 EIA generator records list 678.3 MW of nameplate capacity across three operable units; the directory capacity follows the EIA record. The cited project history records the facility as operating from 2012 and does not record a retirement or repowering milestone. This plant should not be conflated with the unrelated Dresden nuclear facilities in Illinois.
