Battery power (MW) and stored energy (MWh) are separate measures. Shared physical-site membership does not establish electrical connectivity, settlement or a common export limit.

## Reviewed overview

Eagle Valley (IN) is a 644 MW natural gas fired combined cycle plant in Morgan County. Eagle Valley Generating Station is a 671 MW natural gas combined-cycle plant in Martinsville, Indiana, owned and operated by Indianapolis Power & Light, a subsidiary of AES. Indiana regulators approved roughly $600 million of investment in 2014, and the plant began commercial operations on April 28, 2018. It replaces the coal units at the site and, with the 2016 Harding Street conversion, made natural gas IPL’s largest source of generating capacity.
