The plant is owned by Enel Green Power North America through its subsidiary Canastota Wind Power LLC, the Italian utility's US renewables arm. Fenner sells its output into the New York ISO market, settling at the nearby FENNER___WINDPWR price node about 4 km from the site. The original project was built with 20 GE 1.5-megawatt turbines, completed in December 2001 as the largest wind farm in New York State at the time.
