Battery power (MW) and stored energy (MWh) are separate measures. Shared physical-site membership does not establish electrical connectivity, settlement or a common export limit.

## Reviewed overview

Ferdinand Energy Center is a 200 MW batteries plant in Bexar County. Ferdinand is a 200 MW, four-hour battery storage project in south Bexar County, Texas, developed by Eolian L.P. CPS Energy contracted its capacity under a storage capacity agreement announced in August 2024, alongside the 150 MW Padua 2 project. Both were expected online in the first half of 2026 as part of CPS Energy's Vision 2027 generation plan.
