Battery power (MW) and stored energy (MWh) are separate measures. Shared physical-site membership does not establish electrical connectivity, settlement or a common export limit.

## Reviewed overview

Germantown Power Plant is a natural gas- and oil-based peaking plant on 75 acres in Germantown, Wisconsin, and was the first peaker built by We Energies. Four units, each with two gas turbines driving one generator, entered service in 1978 at 63 MW apiece; a fifth, single-turbine unit rated 93 MW followed in 2000. Net capacity is 345 MW. Unit 5 runs on natural gas, while the older units burn ultra low-sulfur fuel oil.
