Glenwood Landing (EIA plant 7869) is a 106 MW natural-gas and distillate-oil fired combustion-turbine generation facility located at 400 Shore Road, Glenwood Landing, Nassau County, New York. The two LM6000 natural-gas turbines are equipped with selective catalytic reduction and water/steam injection for NOx control. Annual generation in 2024 was 129.2 GWh with fuel mix of 84.2% natural gas and 15.8% distillate fuel oil. National Grid decommissioned the broader Glenwood Landing generating site between 2011 and June 2015 under an approved plan managed by TRC Companies; however, the two LM6000 units continued operating or remained available for dispatch, with resources running continuously for approximately 168 hours in March 2026.
