Battery power (MW) and stored energy (MWh) are separate measures. Shared physical-site membership does not establish electrical connectivity, settlement or a common export limit.

## Reviewed overview

Greenwood (MI) is a 1,071.3 MW natural gas steam turbine, natural gas fired combustion turbine plant in St Clair County. Greenwood Energy Center is a natural-gas-fired DTE Energy plant near Avoca in St. Clair County, Michigan, producing electricity since 1979. DTE says it can deliver up to 785 megawatts at peak demand and back down to 40 megawatts off-peak, picking up load when other plants are unavailable. A turbine replacement outage in late 2024, part of a three-year overhaul, was expected to add about 25 years of life.
