- Financing summary: The reported construction cost was $502 million. No project-specific lender, debt amount, or financial-close structure is identified in the available project record. Separately, Dynegy's August 2014 acquisition financing covered the broader Duke portfolio: the Duke purchase price was $2.8 billion in cash, with committed bridge financing and a planned approximately $5 billion of new unsecured notes plus approximately $1.25 billion of equity and equity-linked securities. Those financing amounts relate to the portfolio acquisition, not a Hanging Rock project-finance facility. — Source · confidence: medium

## Data quality

- EIA-derived plant data reports 1,429.8 MW and six generating units, while a 2025 Ohio EPA NPDES fact sheet describes the facility as capable of generating 1,340 MW; this directory uses the EIA plant-55736 nameplate figure. GE's disclosed 210 MW output increase applied to a four-plant Dynegy upgrade program and should not be assigned entirely to Hanging Rock.
