Battery power (MW) and stored energy (MWh) are separate measures. Shared physical-site membership does not establish electrical connectivity, settlement or a common export limit.

## Reviewed overview

Holcomb Station is a coal-fired power plant of about 360 MW near Holcomb in Finney County, Kansas, owned by Sunflower Electric Power Corporation. In 2005 Sunflower applied for an air permit to add three 700 MW supercritical coal units, later cut to two, and in 2007 signed a purchase option and development agreement with Tri-State. The expansion was abandoned in January 2020 when Sunflower let its air permit lapse.
