## Reviewed overview

Horseshoe Lake Power Plant in Harrah, Oklahoma, is owned and operated by Oklahoma Gas & Electric and has been in operation for more than 100 years. OG&E is replacing two aging units that served more than 60 years with Units 11 and 12, simple-cycle GE Vernova 7FA.05 combustion turbines providing about 448 MW and designed to burn hydrogen if available. Unit 11 passed its performance tests in 2026.
