## Reviewed overview

Jayhawk Wind Energy Center is a 197.4 MW onshore wind turbine plant in Crawford County. Jayhawk Wind is a wind project of more than 190 MW in Crawford and Bourbon Counties, Kansas, built from 70 GE wind turbines. Apex Clean Energy developed it and in March 2021 sold it to WEC Energy Group and Invenergy, together with a power purchase agreement with Facebook covering its full capacity. Construction began the week of the sale, with operation expected later that year.
