The Kinmundy Power Plant in Marion County, Illinois, is a peaking station of two Siemens Westinghouse W501D5A dual-fuel combustion turbines with a net capacity of 232 MW. It was transferred together with the Pinckneyville plant from AmerenEnergy Generating Company to AmerenUE, now Ameren Missouri, on May 2, 2005, at net book value. ProEnergy Services was selected in 2006 to provide operations and maintenance for the plant.
