## Reviewed overview

Lake Catherine is an Entergy Arkansas generating site in Malvern, Arkansas, with a history of generation in the region stretching back more than a century. Unit 4, which has served Arkansas customers for more than 50 years, is scheduled for retirement at the end of 2027. Entergy Arkansas broke ground in August 2026 on the 446 MW Ironwood Power Station, a simple-cycle natural gas plant on the site that will replace it.
