A 69 MW lithium-ion battery storage unit, identified as LHC1 in EIA/FERC records and part of the Lockhart CL I battery expansion, reached commercial operations in January 2026 with 69 MWh of energy capacity. The solar resource is identified in CAISO systems as LCKHT1_2_LH1SR1, and the battery resource as LCKHT1_2_LSCBT1. Terra-Gen, LLC, which is jointly owned by Masdar and Igneo Infrastructure Partners, owns and develops the asset. The facility's battery capacity is fully contracted under 15-year resource-adequacy agreements with Pacific Gas and Electric Company.
