## Reviewed overview

Long Beach Generation is a 252 MW natural gas fired combustion turbine plant in Los Angeles County. Four of the site's seven combustion turbine generators were repowered after closing in 2005, with an online date of August 1, 2007. Southern California Edison contracted the 260 MW under a 10-year power purchase agreement running to July 2017.
