Magnet Cove Generating Station is a 660-megawatt combined cycle plant in Malvern, Hot Spring County, Arkansas, wholly owned and operated by Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation and in operation since 2006. Two natural gas-fired combustion turbines, each with a heat recovery steam generator and duct burner, feed a single steam turbine in a two-on-one configuration. The turbines and duct burners burn only natural gas.
