Maplewood Solar is a solar facility of up to 120 MW in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, near the community of Climax on both sides of Climax Road. Dominion Energy obtained the project in 2019 and began construction in the summer of 2020. The project covers approximately 1,500 acres and delivers its output to an existing transmission line, serving dedicated customers with renewable energy goals.
