Consumers Energy - Muskegon County - MISO

Muskegon Solar is a 250 MW (297 MWdc) solar project at the Muskegon Resource Recovery Center in Michigan, on 1,900 acres. Consumers Energy owns and operates it and leases the land. Burns & McDonnell built it under an integrated EPC contract using First Solar Series 7 modules, Array Technology trackers and Siemens Gamesa inverters. More than 550,000 panels rotate to follow the sun. Operations began in January 2026.
