Northeast (MO) is a 540 MW petroleum liquids plant in Jackson County. Northeast Generating Station, at 920 N Olive in Kansas City, Missouri, is a plant of simple-cycle combustion turbines, Units 11 through 18, firing distillate fuel oil. Evergy holds its Missouri Part 70 operating permit, issued in August 2022, and its parent company is reported to EPA as Great Plains Energy Services. The station reported greenhouse gas emissions to EPA for 2023.
