## Reviewed overview

Orient Wind Farm is a MidAmerican Energy wind project in Adair County, Iowa, announced in May 2018 together with the Arbor Hill farm as part of the company's Wind XI project. It was announced with 150 Vestas turbines and an option to add up to 100 more. Construction was scheduled to begin in June 2018. In 2025 MidAmerican was installing replacement turbines at Orient and Arbor Hill, with no net change in the number of turbines in Adair County.
