## Reviewed overview

Pala-Gomez Creek BESS is SDG&E’s battery at its storage yard beside Pala Substation. EIA’s August 2026 preliminary inventory lists 10 MW of power, 10 MWh of nameplate energy, and a March 2024 operating month. Mitsubishi Power’s March 2022 order announcement describes a 10 MW / 60 MWh, six-hour project design. The earlier supplier design and later EIA inventory are separate reported ratings; their difference does not establish a completed modification.
