Paradise Energy Storage is an SDG&E-owned battery microgrid at Paradise Substation in San Diego’s Skyline community. SDG&E’s August 2024 financing report describes 10 MW / 40 MWh; the August 2026 EIA inventory records 10 MW / 10 MWh and an operating start in March 2024. The earlier CPUC-approved design specified 50.5 MWh at beginning of life and 40 MWh at end of life. Each figure retains its source and reporting basis.
