Persimmon Creek is a 199 MW wind farm in western Oklahoma that began commercial operation in 2018 with 80 General Electric turbines across about 17,000 acres in Dewey, Ellis and Woodward counties. Developed and operated by Scout Clean Energy with partner Elawan Energy, it was agreed in August 2022 to be sold to Evergy for about $250 million, with its output to serve Evergy's Missouri West customers.
