Hull Street Energy, LLC - Suffolk County - NYISO

Pinelawn Power LLC is a 82 MW dual-fuel natural-gas/oil combined-cycle generating facility located at 380 Patton Avenue, West Babylon, Suffolk County, New York. The plant entered service in 2005 with simple-cycle operation beginning in July 2005 and full combined-cycle operation in October 2005. The facility comprises a GE LM6000 gas turbine (50 MW), an Innovative Steam Technologies once-through steam generator with natural-gas duct burners, and a Siemens steam turbine (32 MW) in a 1×1 combined-cycle configuration. The plant originally supplied power to the Long Island Power Authority under a 20-year power-purchase agreement. Hull Street Energy acquired the asset from J-Power USA in 2024, and the facility is now part of the Milepost Power fleet. As of June 2025, a NYISO-completed deactivation notice identified a proposed retirement with an earliest possible retirement date of May 15, 2026.
