Pioneer Prairie Wind Farm is a two-phase, 300 MW wind project in Mitchell and Howard counties, Iowa, owned and operated by EDP Renewables North America. Phase II output is contracted to AmerenUE under a 15-year agreement and 115 MW of phase I is sold to the Tennessee Valley Authority under a 20-year agreement. The site stretches from Stacyville in Mitchell County into Oakdale Township in Howard County, along the Minnesota state line.
