Pleasant Valley Station is a natural gas-fired peaking plant in Mower County, Minnesota, owned by Great River Energy. Built in 2001-2002 on a 160-acre site, it has three Siemens Westinghouse combustion turbines, with Units 11 and 12 entering service in 2001 and Unit 13 in 2002. The station burns natural gas with fuel oil as backup and is rated at 421 MW summer capability.
