Battery power (MW) and stored energy (MWh) are separate measures. Shared physical-site membership does not establish electrical connectivity, settlement or a common export limit.

## Reviewed overview

Roanoke Rapids Power Station is a Dominion Energy hydroelectric plant on the Roanoke River in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, in commercial operation since 1955. Four 23.75 MW General Electric generators give it up to 95 MW, according to Dominion Energy. The dam forms Roanoke Rapids Lake, an eight-mile reservoir whose flow is regulated upstream by Dominion's Gaston station, and the plant operates under FERC license docket P-2009.
