## Reviewed overview

Sagamore Wind is a 522 MW wind farm in Roosevelt County, New Mexico, south of Portales. Construction started in December 2019 on a roughly US$900 million project with 240 Vestas turbines, scheduled to come online in late 2020. It is the largest part of Xcel's 1230 MW New Mexico-Texas wind expansion.
