Battery power (MW) and stored energy (MWh) are separate measures. Shared physical-site membership does not establish electrical connectivity, settlement or a common export limit.

## Reviewed overview

Sheldon Station is a two-unit coal plant near Hallam, Nebraska, owned and operated by Nebraska Public Power District. NPPD lists 225 MW: Unit 1 (105 MW) entered service in July 1961 and Unit 2 (120 MW) in July 1968, both burning Powder River Basin coal. Lincoln Electric System ended its supply agreement for the plant at the end of 2017 for $10.5 million. NPPD's 2023 integrated resource plan weighs restoring natural gas as the primary fuel.
