Sithe Independence Station is a natural-gas-fired combined-cycle cogeneration facility located at 76 Independence Way in Oswego County, New York. The facility comprises six operating generators configured in two combined-cycle blocks, each with four GE Frame 7FA gas-turbine/heat-recovery steam-generator units with duct burners, plus two auxiliary boilers and one emergency diesel generator.
