Battery power (MW) and stored energy (MWh) are separate measures. Shared physical-site membership does not establish electrical connectivity, settlement or a common export limit.

## Reviewed overview

South Oak Creek comprises Units 7 and 8 of We Energies' Oak Creek Power Plant in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, two coal-fired units placed in service in the 1960s and equipped with modern environmental controls. We Energies is the trade name of Wisconsin Electric Power Co., a WEC Energy Group subsidiary. Retirement, once set for 2024 and then pushed repeatedly, is now the end of 2027, as a bridge until new dispatchable generation arrives.
