Battery power (MW) and stored energy (MWh) are separate measures. Shared physical-site membership does not establish electrical connectivity, settlement or a common export limit.

## Reviewed overview

Southwestern Station is a gas-fueled power plant near Anadarko, Oklahoma, owned and operated by Public Service Company of Oklahoma, a unit of American Electric Power. PSO approved a 170 MW peaking addition in 2006, and two 85 MW combustion turbines were declared commercially available on February 29, 2008, raising the plant's total capacity to 608 MW. The peaking units help PSO meet demand during periods of peak load.
