Ranger Power unveiled the $175 million project in 2019, and construction began in March 2023. Duke Energy Indiana agreed in July 2023 to buy up to 199 MW under a 20-year power purchase agreement, serving roughly 35,000 homes. Commercial operation was expected by September 2025.
