Battery power (MW) and stored energy (MWh) are separate measures. Shared physical-site membership does not establish electrical connectivity, settlement or a common export limit.

## Reviewed overview

Sugar Creek Power is a 665 MW natural gas fired combined cycle plant in Vigo County. Sugar Creek Generating Station is a natural gas-fired combined-cycle plant in West Terre Haute, Vigo County, Indiana, with two gas turbines and a steam unit. Sugar Creek Energy won Indiana approval in 2001 to build it as a merchant plant, and Indiana regulators approved an expansion of about 550 MW in 2002. NIPSCO later bought it and operates it; reporting puts the combined-cycle unit at 565 MW, and NIPSCO plans to keep it running as it retires coal units.
