Sunflower Wind is a 200 MW onshore wind farm in Marion County, Kansas, owned and operated by Ørsted, which announced the start of operations on 29 September 2023. It is Ørsted's first clean energy project in Kansas and its 13th operating US wind farm. Output is sold under corporate power purchase agreements with Amcor, PepsiCo, Stryker, Citizens and members of Walmart's Project Gigaton cohort. The project uses an aircraft detection lighting system to reduce night-time light pollution.
