Tulsa Power Station is a natural gas steam plant owned by Public Service Company of Oklahoma, an AEP unit, at 3600 S Elwood Ave in Tulsa. Four steam units began operating between 1956 and 1958; Unit 1 was retired in place in 1979 and Unit 3 in 2012. Units 2 and 4, each with a natural-gas-fired Babcock and Wilcox boiler and a steam turbine generator, remain in service and are listed at 340 MW of nameplate capability in PSO's fact sheet.
