Battery power (MW) and stored energy (MWh) are separate measures. Shared physical-site membership does not establish electrical connectivity, settlement or a common export limit.

## Reviewed overview

West Gardner is a 408 MW natural gas fired combustion turbine plant in Johnson County. It uses four General Electric PG7121EA simple-cycle combustion turbines of 85 MW each, a design total of 340 MW, built for about $35 million with Industrial Construction Company as contractor. Evergy runs the station as a backup plant that can go from a dead stop to generating in as little as 14 minutes.
