Battery power (MW) and stored energy (MWh) are separate measures. Shared physical-site membership does not establish electrical connectivity, settlement or a common export limit.

## Reviewed overview

Wheaton Generating Station is a Northern States Power Company-Wisconsin plant in the Town of Wheaton, Chippewa County, Wisconsin. Its repowering adds a 210 MW F-class combustion turbine and five 9 MW reciprocating engines, 255 MW in all, able to burn natural gas or No. 2 fuel oil, on about six acres. The engines are Wärtsilä 34DF units under a ten-year maintenance agreement with Xcel Energy. Wheaton Units 1-4 and 6 would be retired in conjunction with the project.
