Danskammer Generating Station is a four-unit fossil-fueled steam-turbine generating facility located at 994 River Road on the west shore of the Hudson River in the Town of Newburgh, Orange County, New York. The facility has approximately 532 MW of nameplate capacity (boiler-rated capacity totals 500 MW). All units can burn natural gas; Units 1 and 2 also have fuel-oil capability.
