Ector County Energy Center is a two-unit simple-cycle natural-gas peaking plant in Ector County, Texas. EIA's May 2026 inventory reports 358.8 MW nameplate, 320 MW net summer, and 336 MW net winter capability, with both units dated August 2015. Invenergy originally described the project as a 330 MW facility using two GE 7FA turbines and announced service on September 11, 2015. Rockland Capital acquired the plant in 2022; Ector County Generation, LLC is the current EIA-registered operator.
