Bastrop Energy Center
Hull Street Energy · Bastrop County · ERCOT
Bastrop Energy Center is a three-generator natural-gas combined-cycle facility in Bastrop County, Texas. EIA's May 2026 inventory reports 618.7 MW nameplate, 575 MW net summer, and 610 MW net winter capability across two combustion-turbine records and one steam-turbine record, all dated May 2002. Hull Street Energy announced in May 2023 that it would acquire 100% of Bastrop and Paris Energy Centers from Mesquite Generation Holdings; the two-plant portfolio totaled 855 MW.
