ERCOT maps the units to resources CALAVERS_JKS1 and CALAVERS_JKS2 and settlement points CALAVER_JKS1 and CALAVER_JKS2. CPS Energy approved Spruce 1 to cease operation in December 2028 and plans to convert Spruce 2 to natural gas; its January 2026 financial disclosure targets conversion by the end of 2027, while ERCOT's May 2025 resource plan models gas operation beginning June 1, 2028.
