Orion II Solar Project
SB Energy · Milam County · ERCOT
Orion II Solar Project is a 250 MW photovoltaic facility in Milam County, Texas. EIA's May 2026 inventory lists one operating generator under Plant ID 66941, with service beginning in September 2024 and Ben Milam Solar 2 LLC as the registered operator. Orion II is one of three projects in SB Energy's Orion Solar Belt, which entered commercial operation in 2024. SB Energy reports approximately 900 MWdc and more than 1.3 million U.S.-made modules across the three-project belt; those totals are not Orion II-only figures.
