Valcour Altona Windpark, LLC - Clinton County - NYISO

Altona is an operating 97.5 MW onshore wind facility in Clinton County, New York, commissioned in April 2009 and associated with EIA plant ID 56901 and NYISO PTID 323606. The facility comprises 65 GE 1.5 SLE-ESS turbines. Originally developed by Noble Environmental Power, it was acquired by Carlyle Group in 2018 through Valcour Wind Energy and subsequently by AES Corporation in December 2021. AES is pursuing a proposed repowering project to increase capacity to approximately 107.5 MW with up to 25 new turbines, expected to commence operation in 2028.
